European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the mechanism through which the European Community finances the Common Agricultural Policy. The Fund is in two parts: (a) the Guidance part which funds structural policy, and (b) the Guarantee part which supports markets and prices. Historically, the Fund has spent the bulk of its resources on supporting markets and prices.[1]
