Concept of Epizootic

In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of epizootic may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: An outbreak or epidemic of disease in animal populations affecting many animals of one kind at the same time, e.g. avian flu in fowl, foot and mouth disease in cattle[1]
