Definition of Electoral Violence in the context of the United States election law: Any harm or threat of harm to persons or property involved in the election process, or to the process itself. All forms of violence can become electoral violence when they are used with the intent to delay, impede, intimidate, prevent or eliminate political opponents, voters and/or the electoral process itself.
