Concept of ECHA
In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of echa may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: ECHA – European Chemicals Agency. The Helsinki-based ECHA opened for business in June 2008. ECHA manages the EU’s Registration Evaluation and Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical Substances (REACH) regulation. This regulation is designed to provide additional information on chemicals, to ensure their safe use, and to ensure competitiveness of the European industry. ECHA will also provide information on chemicals and technical and scientific advice.[1]
