Concept of Dual Use-item

In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of dual use-item may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: Items, including software and technology, which can be used both for civil and military purposes. It includes all items, which can be used in the manufacture of weapons. A list of controlled dual-use items is set out in Annex I to the EU
