Digital Opportunity Taskforce in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, digital opportunity taskforce is: established by the G8 summit in Okinawa in July 2000. The entries on trade policy in the Encyclopedia are here. Often known as dot.force. Its aims are (a) to foster policy, regulatory and network readiness, (b) improving connectivity, increasing access and lowering cost, (c) building human capacity and (d) encouraging participation in global e-commerce networks. The taskforce includes representatives of government, business and non-governmental organizations.[1]
