English Legal System: Curfew Order
In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Curfew Order : A community order under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 that requires an offender over 16 to remain at a specified place at particular times. The maximum duration of an order is six months. The periods of curfew must be specified; they must not be less than two hours or more than 12 hours.
