Cumulative Assessment Of Dumping

Cumulative assessment of dumping in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the investigation by the importing country of alleged concurrent dumping by several countries of the same product. The entries on trade policy in the Encyclopedia are here. Under the WTO rules such an assessment is allowed only if (a) the margin of dumping for each country is more than de minimis and the imports from each are not negligible, and (b) the assessment would be appropriate in the light of competitive conditions between imported and domestic products. See also anti-dumping measures, de minimis dumping and negligible imports.[1]
