English Legal System: Council of The Inns of Court
In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Council of The Inns of Court : A body, comprising representatives of the four *Inns of Court, the *Bar Council, and the Inns of Court and Bar Educational Trust (See Council of Legal Education), that coordinates the work of the three organizations represented. When the Council of the Inns of Court and Bar Council disagree, the latter’s policy is implemented if it has the support of two-thirds of the profession.
