In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the formal term for members of the GATT 1947. When the contracting parties acted jointly to adopt a decision, GATT documents denote this by the use capital letters (the CONTRACTING PARTIES). GATT contracting parties are now WTO members.[1]
