Meaning of Consequential Damage

damage , loss or injury as does not flow directly and immediately from the act complained of but only from consequences or result of such act. Damage or loss which follows because of special conditions imputed to the defaulting party thereby increasing the extent of his liability . Phrase used interchangeably with special damage. See Hycel Inc. v American Airlines Inc., (D. C. Tex.) 328 F. Supp. 190.
