English Legal System: Conditional Admissibility
In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Conditional Admissibility : The *admissibility of evidence whose *relevance is conditional upon the existence of some fact that has not yet been proved. The courts permit such evidence to be given conditionally, upon proof of that fact at a later stage of the trial. Such evidence is sometimes said to have been received *de bene esse.
