Meaning of Concessit solvere
A form of action of debt on simple contract which lies by custom in the mayor’s courts of London and Bristol. The declaration is to the effect that the defendant on a fictitious date, in consideration of divers fictitious sums of money before that time due and owing from him to the plaintiff, and then in arrear and unpaid, granted and agreed to pay (concessit solvere) to the plaintiff the sum sued for, but has not done so.
