In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Bilateral Discharge : The ending of a contract by agreement, when neither party has yet performed his obligations under it (an executory contract). Each party supplies consideration for the agreement to discharge by releasing the other from his existing obligations.
