Concept of “Besael, Besaylle, Etc.”
Traditional meaning of besael, besaylle, etc. in the French law history (with some legal use in England and the United States in the XIX Century) [1]: (in French) A great-grandfather. A writ like Aiel, brought on the seisin of a great-grandfather; see AIEL.
