Concept of Background Radiation

In relation to securing dangerous material (in case of crisis or terrorism) a meaning of background radiation may be outlined, in general regarding European law, as follows: Background radiation is the level of radiation that is constantly present in the environment and is emitted from a variety of natural and artificial sources.[1]
