English Legal System: Assured Agricultural Occupancy
In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Assured Agricultural Occupancy : A form of *assured tenancy in which the tenant is an agricultural worker living in a *tied cottage. This kind of tenancy replaced protected occupancies (*protected occupancy) from 15 January 1989. In certain circumstances a local authority may be required to rehouse assured agricultural occupants.
