What does Agenda mean in American Law?
The definition of Agenda in the law of the United States, as defined by the lexicographer Arthur Leff in his legal dictionary is:
A list, frequently written and sometimes circulated in advance, of matters to be discussed or acted on at a meeting, also giving the order of consideration. There is some recent research indicating that, under many common voting circumstances (especially when more than two more-or-less permanent factions are in the electorate), the order of the agenda can have an effect on the substantive outcomes.
