Shared Physical Custody in Connecticut
Shared Physical Custody means a situation in which each parent exercises physical care and control of the child (see Children Protection in Connecticut) for periods substantially in excess of a normal visitation schedule. An equal sharing of physical care and control of the child (see Children Protection in Connecticut) is not required for a finding of shared physical custody. Connecticut Regs. § 46b-215a-1(22).
