Meaning of Staple
A market . The seaports from which wool, leather, tin and lead were exported, and the goods exported were collectively referred to as staple.
Staple Alternative Definition
In international law. The right of staple, as exercised by a people upon foreign merchants, is defined to be that they may not allow them to set their merchandises and wares to sale, but in a certam place.
