Meaning of Armed Robbery

In some States, the offense of armed robbery is known as robbery in the first degree. The offense consists in robbery with firearms or by the use of a dangerous or deadly weapon or threatened use of the same. See state v Mull, 224 N. C. 574, 31 S.E.2d 764.
