Meaning of Antenati
(Lat. bom before). Those bbrn in a country before a change in its political condition such as to affect their allegiance. The correlative term is postnati. In the United States. It ordinarily denotes those born in this country prior to the Declaration of Independence. See 7 Wheat. (U.S.) 535. In England, It ordinarily denotes those born before the union with Scotland.
