Meaning of Polygyny
The marriage of one man to several women at the same time. This is the most common form of polygamy. It often takes the form of “sororal polygyny”, which is two or more sisters married to the same man.

Definition of Polygyny
The Canada social science dictionary [1] provides the following meaning of Polygyny: A marriage structure where men have more than one wife at a time. Widely spread in world societies, but practiced by only by a minority of those communities because population sex-ratios and a lack of economic resources make it inaccessible for the majority.
