ASEAN Vision 2000 in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, asean vision 2000 is: an action plan adopted by ASEAN governments on 15 December 1997 to realize fully the original aims of ASEAN. Many of these aims are economic, such as the full implementation of AFTA and the free flow of investment between the ASEAN members by 2020. See also ASEAN Investment Area.[1]
