Meaning of Special Agent
As distinct from a general agent, a special agent is one to whom authority is delegated to do a single act not involving continuity of service . See Seigworth v state , 539 P.2d 464, 91 Nev. 536.
Special Agent Alternative Definition
An agent whose authority is confined to a particular or an individual instance. It is a general rule that he who is invested with a special authority must act within the bounds of his authority, and he cannot bind his principal beyond what he is authorized to do. 2 Bouv.
