Generic Drug Laws
What is Generic Drug Laws?
A definition of generic drug laws is: Laws which permit pharmacists to substitute generic drugs for brand name drugs under specified conditions. More details on the Encyclopedia. The purpose of these laws ostensibly is to make available to consumers less expensive generic drugs in lieu of more expensive brand-name drugs.[1]
