Et seq.
Et seq. in the One-L Dictionary
Latin meaning “and the following.” It is used in statutory citations such as 42 U.S.C. 2000e et seq. to indicate that the referenced statute begins at section 2000e and continues through an unspecified number of subsequent sections. Note that Rule 3.4(b) of the Bluebook prohibits the use of et seq. However, you will see it quite often in judicial opinions.
