Meaning of City of london court
A court having a local jurisdiction within the city of London. It is to all intents and purposes a county court, having the same jurisdiction and procedure. St. 30 & 31 Vict. c. 142, § 35. It has exclusive jurisdiction in admiralty matters within the city. Bosc. Adm. 75; St. 31 & 32 Vict, c, 71. See “Mayor’s Court.”
