Tropical products in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: this is not a clearly defined group of products, but in the Uruguay Round, where it received priority treatment, it included tropical beverages (coffee, cocoa and tea, and products based on them), spices, cut flowers, tropical plants and plant products, oilseeds, vegetable oils and oilcake, tobacco, rice, manioc and other tropical roots, tropical fruits and nuts, tropical wood and rubber, jute, sisal and other hard fibres. The Tokyo Round also treated tropical products as a priority.[1]
