Meaning of Limited Admissibility

Admissibility of evidence for a limited purpose. See Bruton v United States , 391 U.S. 123, 88 S.Ct. 1620, 20 L.Ed.2d 476. Evidence that is competent and admitted for one purpose and which is incompetent as to all other purposes and which can not be used for such other purposes. See Waldron v Waldron, 156 U.S. 361, 15 S. Ct. 383,39 L.Ed. 453; McDonald v United States, 335 U.S. 451, 69 S. Ct. 191, 93 L.Ed. 153.
