ICITO in Global Commerce Policy
In this regard, icito is: Interim Commission for the International Trade Organization. The entries on trade policy are here. Established in 1948 to prepare the administrative arrangements for entry into force of the ITO. The entries on trade policy are here. At the same time, it was agreed that ICITO would supply the secretariat services for GATT. The entries on trade policy are here. As the ITO did not enter into force, ICITO’s only reason for existence was the latter arrangement.[1]
