D.-glosses

Concept and History of d.-glosses

appear in a strata of Bolognese glosses composed during the 1180’s. They are probably unrelated to David of London, whose canonistic activities date to a time prior to the 1170’s. As an alternative, Weigand suggests identity with Magister Daifer.
