Meaning of Association Agreement
In the context of Europe, and according to A Dictionary of Law, the following is a definition of Association Agreement : An agreement between a member state of the European Union and a non-EU country or organization, as provided for in Article 310 of the Treaty of Rome. The agreement, which may be with a country, a union of states, or an international organization, establishes an association involving reciprocal rights and obligations, common action, and special procedures.
