Meaning of Unfair Labor Practice
One that restrains or coerces employees in the exercise of their rights guaranteed by Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act which declares it the policy of the United States to protect the exercise by workers of full freedom of association, self organization, and designation of representatives of their own choosing for the purpose of regulating the terms and conditions of their employment and other material and/or protection. The interference with these rights whether by an employer or by a union can constitute an unfair labor practice. See National Labor Relations Act, §7, 8; 29 U.S.C.A. §102.1 et seq. 157, 158.
