Meaning of Simultaneous Death

The death of two or more persons in a common disaster or under circumstances where it cannot be ascertained who was the first to die or as to who survived the other . Under statutes relating to simultaneous deaths, generally in such instances the property of each, is to be disposed of as if that person had survived.
