Meaning of School

A place of establishment for education, particularly a place where elementary instruction is imparted to the young. A place where education is given of a character more elementary than that given in a college which gives education of a postmatriculant character. A body of pupils, collectively, in any place of instruction and under instruction of one or more teachers; the disciples or followers of a teacher; any place or means of discipline, improvement , instruction or training.
