Privity of contract is the relation which exists between the immediate parties to a contract.Privity of estate is that which exists between a lessor and lessee , a tenant for life and remainderman , between joint tenants, etc. Privity of blood exists between an heir and his ancestor and between coparceners. Privity in representation exists between a testator and his executor .Privity in tenure is that which exists between a lord and a tenant who holds of him by a service .
