Meaning of Intra vires
Within the power. The opposite of ultra vires (q. v.). An act which might be done by the managing board of a corporation or by a majority of the stockholders in meeting assembled. The act in intra vires although done by the managing board of directors, and in opposition to the will of a majority of the stockholders. 113 111. App. 609.
