International Court of Justice in Global Commerce Policy

In this regard, a definition of this issue is as follows: the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. The entries on trade policy are here. Its two functions are to settle legal disputes between states and to give advisory opinions on legal questions submitted by authorized international organizations and agencies, all of them being United Nations agencies. The sources of law used by the Court include international treaties and conventions, international custom, general principles of law, judicial decisions and academic work.
