Meaning of Fellow Servant Rule

A common law rule whereby an employer has no liability to employees injured as a result of negligence of their coemployees. See New England R. Co. v Conroy, 175 U.S. 323, 44 L.Ed. 181. 20 S. Ct. 85. This rule has been abrogated by statute in most jurisdictions.
