Meaning of European Convention On State Immunity
In the context of Europe, and according to A Dictionary of Law, the following is a definition of European Convention On State Immunity : An international convention of 1972 setting out when and how member states of the European Community (now the European Union) may sue or be sued (by other states or by individuals). It is in force only in those EU states that have signed up to the convention.
