Danger in the Dictionary of Law consisting of Judicial Definitions and Explanations of Words, Phrases and Maxims

In the law of self defense “apparent danger” means such overt, actual demonstration, by conduct and acts, of a design to take life or to do some great personal injury, as makes killing apparently necessary for self-preservation. Evans v. State, 44 Miss. 773 (1870).
