Meaning of Contributory Infringement

In patent law, the intentional aiding of one person by another in the unlawful making or selling or using of a patented invention and a contributory infringer is a person who induces, aids or contributes to wrongful acts of another which constitute infringement of a patent. See Stamicarbon v McNally-Pittsburg Mfg. Corp., (D.C.Kan.) 302 F. Supp. 531.
