Meaning of Chapel

A place of worship attached to or subordinate to a church . where the parish is large, then for the accommodation of those parishioners who dwell at a distance from the main parish church a chapel may be provided in which case it is called a chapel of ease. while a chapel of ease does not have the privilege of administering the sacraments and the office of burial, a parochial chapel has both these rights .
