What does Antenatus mean in American Law?

The definition of Antenatus in the law of the United States, as defined by the lexicographer Arthur Leff in his legal dictionary is:

A person “born before,” i.e., before another person (so as to have prior right as heir), or before a particular event of legal significance, especially some grand political development like a revolution. The Constitution, e.g., provides that no one “except a natural born Citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution” is eligible to be President; it would be proper, therefore, to refer to such a person as an “antenatus.”
