English Legal System: Access
In the context of the English law, A Dictionary of Law provides the following legal concept of Access :
Formerly. the opportunity to visit a child that was granted (at the discretion of the court) to its parent when the other parent had the care and control of the child after divorce or when a custodianship order was in force. Since the Children Act 1989 came into force the concept of access has been replaced by that of *contact.
